Redmi 6A runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with latest MIUI 10 user interface which better and faster than MIUI 9.0. It’s powered by Mediatek Helio A-22 (2.0Ghz) quad core processor with 12nm chipset. On the graphics side, it has Power-VR GE8320. Being a low budget smartphone, it performs well while playing low graphic games like COC or Temple Run, but loses frame rates in high end games like PUBG. So please don’t go hard on this little buddy here with heavy games. This phone comes with a 5.45 inches HD(720×1440) capacitive touch display. On the camera side, it has single 13MP, f/2.2 autofocus camera sensor with flash. The camera performance is good as per the price category. It takes some good shots in bright light but struggles in low light conditions. Also the front shooter is a 5MP f/2.2 sensor with a good bookeh effect for your beautiful portraits.
Moving further, Redmi 6A has a 3000mAh battery enough for a day long use but lacks fast charging. It has micro-usb charging port. 3.5mm audio jack is present but Fingerprint Sensor and IR blaster is missing and that’s a bummer. On the connectivity side, it has dual nano sim slots with dual 4G Volte support. That means you can have both sims working on Volte at the same time. Coming to great news, it has dedicated SD card slot upto 256GB capacity. As the phone comes with 16/32 GB storage capacity with 2/3GB RAM variants.
Overall, Redmi 6A is a great phone at a significantly low price available on MI Store or Amazon.
